Japan
Under the Second Funding Round (2015-2018), Global Compact Network Japan, with support from Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) Japan, developed the "Tokyo Principles for Strengthening Anti-Corruption Practices." This principles-based Collective Action initiative aimed to enhance anti-corruption policies, practices and performance among Japanese companies.
Additionally, Network Japan created an anti-bribery assessment tool to improve practices and promote public disclosure. The Network will continue to encourage Japanese companies to adopt the Tokyo Principles, fostering greater accountability and transparency.
